“Nicolas Winding Refn (byNWR) and Matthew Read (Moonage Pictures) bring Enid Blyton’s classics to life with a new and fresh reimagining of the iconic stories.

The Famous Five follows five daring young explorers as they encounter treacherous, action-packed adventures, remarkable mysteries, unparalleled danger and astounding secrets.”

“Faithfully old-fashioned but daringly modern … The Famous Five is that very rare and precious thing: a TV show that both children and adults can thoroughly enjoy”

I composed the score along with Julian Winding for the three films

The Thief, His Wife and The Canoe

Eddie Marsan stars as a man who fakes his own death in this bizarre true story. When John takes action to claim life insurance money, he convinces his wife to play along.

Directed by Richard Laxton and written by Chris Lang, the show was nominated for ‘Best Mini-Series’ at The Bafta Tv Awards.

The Score, which I composed along with Harry Escott was nominated for an Ivor Novello award.

A 1930's dinner party descends into carnage, gore and demonic possession in Here Comes Hell, a genre-clashing horror comedy.

Jack Mchenry’s debut feature was a smash hit at festivals from Glasgow Frightfest to Seattle Film Festival and Grossman Festival in Slovenia.

I composed a pastiche-period score for string quartet, taking inspiration from the likes of Franz Waxman and Bernard Herman. As the chaos unfolded, un-wordly sounds found there way into the music. Broken accordions, detuned violins and distorted bassoons where called for!

The film received a network premiere on film4 and is available to stream on amazon.
